"We do have a plan to develop the TV app version of Synology Photos on Apple TV and Android TV platform.
Though the time has not yet confirmed, we are now designing the new TV app internally and will keep working on this."

We now target to launch the Synology Photos TV app in Q4 this year. The detailed planned is still under discussion and I'm not sure whether there will be a beta testing.
I will also record this and let the development team know.
As for the HDR HEVC video support issue on the DS video TV app, I've checked with the development team and they've recorded this. This can be a feature request which needs further evaluations.
Though currently the feature is not in DS video TV app's recent updates plan, we will review all the recorded feature requests from our customers regularly and see if it is feasible to have some of them improved.
